I'm pretty sure the entire exhaust nozzle on the Raptor moves, at least it appeared that way in the show on the military channel. I could be wrong though, been awhile since I saw the show, do you have any links?

That black one looks like a transformer!

Ok, so the entire nozzle doesnt move, just the upper and lower parts. The sides arent designed to move since the designers didnt feel that yaw TV wasnt needed with the Raptor.

Thanks for the pics GS, been looking for information about TV as it applies to the Raptor but it's very scarce.

Ooooooo, good idea! :D

That second picture with the afterburner lit......I wonder just how they made that thing sit still, in afterburner the engine puts out something like 39,000 lbs of thrust....

The pic shows some sort of tie downs, but they look awfully frail considering how much thrust that engine puts out.

Very well could be right about the fuel and power lines. As far as the test bed it's mounted on, it has to be secured somehow. That pic doesnt really show that though.

During my time in the AF I occasionally got to see F-4E's and later on F-15A/B's on the *tie down pad* where the engines were run up to full afterburner. Even though the planes were tied down, you could see them straining to get loose. F-4/F-15 engines arent nearly as powerful as this one. So I have difficulty imagining what it takes to ensure it doesnt achieve flight. ;)

OK, got it up and I'm now DL'ing. It's kinda slow though, and I also get this error message. Any idea what's up with that?

No se tarkoittaa sitä, että muut peerit ja seedit ei saa yhteyttä koneelles. Syy voi olla palomuuri tai ISP:n NAT tms. Imutus onnistuu kyllä noinkin, mutta on yleensä hitaampaa.

"stealth" stuff is just popular thing for wide public. Its obsolete.

Kiinnostaa kyllä; mistäs noita on saanut?

Torrenttien teko on aika simppeliä, azureus osaa sen hyvin ja sitten pitää vain itse torrent-filu uploadata trakkerille kuten esim toi ruotsalainen piratebay.

I had a good look at one of those once.  The details on that thing are amazing.  You can see how some of the UFO kooks think we have captured alien technology.

Okei nyt tuli tuo su-paketti, mutta kansion sisällä on vaan .dat filuja.. Pitäskö tuo purkaa jotenkin?

Otin noi jutut joskus emuulista.

edit: have you guys (meaning the Finns) downloaded "Grendel's aviation dvd" torrent?
