I believe that crash involved "The Spook" colliding with "Midnight Madness" while landing in fog, although I do not recall which one was landing and which one was still on the runway....

It is, C-46.

 Prety shure it is a C-46 the large tail and chubby fuslage would seam to indicate that.

 Thanks for the Details on the plane guy's, very interesting.:)
