Help!
« on: May 11, 2005, 05:49:19 PM »
Okay I went to frys electronics today, and bought a 512mb stick of ram for my computer. I had forgot what type it takes so I told the worker to look it up, and I told him my system specs. So he says I need a pc2100 stick of ram so im thinking hes right, and I buy it. Drive 40 miles back to town and relize that my computer runs pc2700. Not only do I have to make another 80mile trip to return it. IM FRIGGN PISSED. Is there anyway I could run pc2100 on this dell?

JetB if that 2400 is still under warranty and it starts acting funny and you call in for tech support you better not tell my techs that you have added those parts LOL. But on a more serious note be sure if anything happens and you do have to call to take the stuff youve added out and dont mention that or itll void your contract for parts and service both. Just letting ya know JUST IN CASE!
