Have to agree. Evolution was disappointing. The only bright spot was Orlando Jones.

How can you knock a movie that show's David Duchovny's ass? <SOB just grabbed his $7.50 for the movie and getting in line>.

If you think its the worst that's been out recently, you missed such gems as "The Replacements", "Dungeons & Dragons" and the plethora of movie mill releases over the past year.

And don't tell me you were suprised.  Mr. Duchovny landed the perfect role on "The X Files" because it didn't require a whole lot of acting.  I think this was his last major paycheck before the realization finally sinks in with Hollywood.

The movie was run of the mill.  Generic script with a generic plot.  It wasn't really "bad", but it wasn't really good.  It falls into the same category of "Mummy Returns" for me.  Few suprises and few impressive seens (dialog or visuals).

Damn, where do you live? It was $9, $6 if I went before 5pm. Cost $15 per hour for my girl friend and I to go see a movie. (thats with popcorn and all that crap)

The movie sucked, I cant compare how much it sucked with other movies because I havent been to the movies in a while. Maybe it's just on par for the movies nowdays?
Dvds, a dark chilled basement, the love seat, and my 48 inch hd wide screen tv are where its at.

Its the Toshiba 48a48r something or other. its about 1.5 years old, was about $2600, i think. But it was a desplay tv for a best buy type place so we got a slightly better deal. Its since been replaced with the new 100% flat screen 50 incher and the 56 inch wide screen version by toshiba, both are less then what ours cost. The toshiba 56H80 is 56 inch projecion for 2.5 grand, nice tv. At the time toshiba was the best value, but now i have no idea where the good buys are now. the panasonic sounds like a good deal.

You can get a lot of 47inch plus projection tvs for under 2 grand i think. if you plan to watch dvds you should really have the 16:9 AR though, looks way cool. and most ~50 inchers are either way too big (depth wise) or not hdtv/ 16:9. more money gets you someting smaller with the nice AR.

Also dont freak out when you move a speaker or anything magnetic accros the screen and all the purple or green goes to one side. thats what the "degauss" is for. my dad sht a brick when that happened, i though his head was gona pop. but it was all ok when i explained how the degauss works  :).

Most electronics seem to loose major value and become outdated in a year or so. TVs seem to hold there value a *little* better. Our tv is probably going on 2 years soon and still seems to be a pretty good deal.

Hmmmm...interesting how your entire opinion of the movie rests on the fact that you got to see a man's bare ass.  Interesting.  AKs watch yer backsides in the showers when DJ's around!

Evolution - Haven't seen it.
The Replacements - Hmmm...washout quarterback gets second chance and falls in love with a woman who doesn't date football players.  I liked it better the first time when it was called Unnecesssary Roughness.  On second thought, nope...I hated it then too.
Dungeions & Dragons - I recently got a nasty intestinal virus somethingorother that gave me horrible abdominal cramps and pains and I ended up at the hospital where I projectile vomited on a nurse.  I longed for the joy of that experience while I was watching this movie.
The Mummy Returns - I HATE _______.  This was the most godaweful piece of trash that I've seen since Entrapment.
