I have been attacked, anyone know how to remove Coolwebsearch.xpsystem and windir.svchost from my computer?
I have tried Adaware, spybot spyhunter and spy sweeper and it's still there. Can't play because of all the CTD's help!!!!!!!

Well... if you've done that.. then try

http://www.spywareguide.com/product_show.php?id=599

and work out from there. Some of the darn things can only be removed manually....though I'm suprised Adaware etc can't do it.

This is not just a spyware it's a trojan and it steals you're homepage among all the other crap it does.
There is more info on this problem at norton and mcafee antivirus support. To clean this out it requires some manual deletions in the registry. Make sure you're antivirus is current and updated , and follow the directions. I had the same problem a few months ago and had to finally just do a complete refomat and install to get rid of the little bugger.

Both Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta and HijackThis will get rid of BHOs and Hijackers.
