FOR THOSE AMONG YOU WHO ARE GONNA BAIT ME I AM NOT A SCORE potato

Now to the point

I was looking at my pilot score, wanted to see my K/D ratio.

I have some how attained a rank of 54 in the bombers (perhaps theres only 55 ppl flying Buffs

Any way by looking at my stats for the fighters and attack ect, It does not look like I should have a rank of 54 in BUFFs.

I have heard that there is a bug with the ranking system could this be the cause?

Any thoughts ppl....

There is not any bug with the ranking system. But the rank can lag up to 24 hours of your score.

If you only fly a few sorties and they all turn out well, you will have a strong rank for awhile vs the guys who have 30 sorties with a handful of bad ones...I think. Eventually, if you tried to rest on your laurels though and not fly buffs for awhile you would see your rank fall off. Is this , in very simple terms, about right HT?

Yep I am now at Rank 69 didn't take long to start slipping

It was fun while it lasted though

Is this why in fighter rank, u'll have people with no rank at the top of the boards?

People fly as fighters for a week of a tour very carefully then change to attack - their Fighter score remains high as they no longer take losses and therefore appear to be higher in Fighter rank than say someone who only flys as a fighter score - so rank is immaterial except to yourself as a measure of improvement.
