It's a much hyped 'self replicating' robot. All it actually does is take other, pre-built components and integrates them into itself. Kinda one of those 'I guess nobody bothered doing it before because they didn't realize how much press it would garner' things, and definately not something that would have Von Neumann sitting up and taking notice.

That aside, it's neat.

Wait til it runs out of prebuilt components and decides it can just simply manufacture its own, out of such things as finished metal products, buildings, Chairboy. Then the fun begins..............

If you don't have the means to do either then.... get with it before it is too late.

I hear these things eat motorcycles in order to replicate.
