I think when I finally was able to get up, the first thing I'd do is check my car.  Don't drink and drive!!!

Nothing wrong with being drunk while posting.  There is something wrong with being drunk and driving, and anyone who does that is damn lucky if they don't get in serious trouble.  Cops have no choice anymore, they can't just let you go.  And if you have an accident while driving drunk, that's the end of the world as you know it.

So don't do it ever again.  I was lucky, never had a dui or drinking related car accident, but I've gotten away with some things drinking and driving in the past that I wouldn't get away with nowadays if caught.  I'm no one special, I was just nice and talked my way out of it (one time), and that was years ago.  First time offense DUI ends up costing around $5000 altogether.  If you do get caught, consider that a cheap price to pay.  I decided I wasn't going to worry about it any more.  Been too lucky all these years.  I stay home and post drunk.

thanks for your concern Leslie... I don't think I was drunk when I posted, though I couldn't type too well.
It took me so freaking long to get from my where I was drinking to where my car was parked (on the other side of the Hudson) that I managed to sober up in by the time I started driving. :)

Yeah sure you sobered up while walking to your car.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Yeah, the best part is "I don't 'think' I was drunk"

Dude, if you don't know... you sure as hell shouldn't be driving.

If you are drunk for real it takes over 12 hours to sober up.

don't know man... guess I thought I was drunker than I really was.
only had about 5-6 screwdrivers, nothing to brag about.
when I got to the car(more than an hour after the last drink)  I was sober, just really tired.
when I posted last night I thought it was cool. I'm just lame(moreso since I didn't get any).

gonna reflect on my lameness and take a nap.

I had 6 tequila sunrises at a bachelor party and was driving home at 3 AM in a 73 Chevelle and every time I let off the gas quickly it backfired really loud.  Well that happened and the Police were at the Krystal drive-in and they pulled me over because they thought I had fired a shotgun.  I had a 0.24 drunk rating, but I didn't think I was all rhat drunk either.

Police let me call my dad to come get me rather than go to jail, mainly because they didn't pull me over for drunk driving, but bevause they thought I was shooting at them.  That's the bad thing about  73 Chevelles.  I wasn't weaving drunk but was tired.

Hmm.  I think I have some experience in this area so my judgment is justified. ;)

1/10.

-Your spelling is too good.  0 points.

-You were drunk.  1 point.

I'll overlook the vehicular part, that's negative points. :)

look whose head popped out of the gutter to spew more insults and random drivel!

I'm gonna have to remove him from my ignore list, anyone who insults me every chance he gets (and a short fused 'tough-guy' too) is definitely a keeper.
