btw, who was killed?  Foreigners intentionally, or rioters accidentally?   I mean who were they venting outrage upon?
moslem who break their eggs on the small end were killed by moslems who break their eggs on the large end.  it's a timeless tale.

Society should expect human beings to flip out and kill people when informed of a book meeting a toilet ? Is that how far back in time we've been dragged?

If Snoozeweek had reported that Elvis Presley may have been married to a man and consequently 15 Missisippians died as a result of the redneck rampage would the aformentioned magazine be held responsible? Or more to the point, should it?

When you divide it down to it's smallest whole, this situation, it's rather offensive to thinking afghans.

"Newsweek, you know you can't say things like without causing a murderous riot. They can't be held to the same standard as the rest of the world. You should've known better."

Our image abroad has been damaged?   Me thinks Mr. McClellan is correct in his statement but off by just a few years.

Thought it was funny watching the whitehouse spokesman complaining about newsweek getting the story wrong and 15  people killed. When Bush got his facts wrong on Iraq which has resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands and still counting.

How dare you hold Bush responsable for his actions.

oops I'm sorry, please forgive my shortsightedness.  Canadians and europeans.  I was hoping our Canadian cousins would recognize GWB as the new Canadian regent, then maybe we could stop your mindless slide into the abyss.  after all there is precedent.  you have had other Georges as regent.  this one would be a marked improvement over those others.
