During 1944 deliveries began of a new Hellcat version, the F6F-5, with a number of detail refinements and improvements. The R-2800-IOW engine (with water injection) was retained, but the cowling was modified, and the windshield was also improved. Provision was made for 2,000 lb of bombs under the centre section and six rockets under the outer wings, and 20 mm cannon usually replaced the inner machine guns on this model. Production of this version totalled 6,436, plus 1,189 F6F-5Ns with APS-6 in the pod on the starboard wing. The Royal Navy received 252 F6F-3s and 930 F6F-5s which it operated as Hellcat I and Hellcat II respectively.

I would assume we'd have to perk this beast.

seriously..

i am not really bothered what planes are added any more.  Because the types i would like are never going to see the light of day.

What i do want, however, is i wish the different ports would spawn different styles of CV's or different countries would have different CV's.  So bish bases (at start of map) would have Japanese style carriers.  Knits would have British style carriers..  Rooks can have American style carriers etc.  Mannable defensive guns should be kept to a standard so they are all equal and equal ord to kill them.

We need new planes. Not more varients of ones we already have with varients.

We have enough Spits, P51's 109's  P38'sand FWs.

Outside of the 61 I would like.

We could use more Jap planes. More Russian planes.

An American, and British TANK on par with the Panzer and Tiger.

Maybe a Jap tank as a counter to the M8 LOL

Prob is Dred we don't have the free Spits to compete with the free late war stuff. Add a Spit 8 (free) and 12 (free) and I'll be happy.
