Anyone else?
« on: May 16, 2005, 11:12:19 AM »
Planes fly through tracers, exploding 3 seconds after I clearly missed them in my FE, people flying through me and get no damage, invisable planes (warping), planes scoring hits on my plane but rear view shows their nose pointing away from my plane, etc.  Started the past 2 or 3 days.  Anyone else seen it?  Oh, and it does go away for a while.

The other day a few dots on the horizon appeared. They looked like a formation of buffs. So I waited. Nothing happened. They slowly moved. Then they flew away. It was a damn tiny bug on my monitor. :)
Peace

I have had similar problems over the years, it usually was due to bad connections, either at HTC or on my end.

I've seen times where I poured ammo out that seemed to go straight through an enemy plane without doing the slightest bit of damage, and then others where I take a snapshot that looks like it missed by several yards to the side, only to see the other guy start smoking and/or parts fly off a second or two later.  The joys of online gaming.

Yea I had this happen a few times last night.  I was pelting a P-38 at 200ft and was just not seeing hit sprites or anything.  I was in a Mossie just slugging all the cannon I could.  A moment later, he warps behind me and explodes.  Weird.

Logged, came back online a few hours later and didnt have any problems.

The joys of the Internet :)

Had something like this happen to me this am - was flyin a spit14 and was pouring ammo into the canopy of a zeke, the rounds looked like they just passed right thru em.   A few secs later I get a kill message without the explosion.  I'd chalk it up to a bad conn on someones end - mine, HTC, or the zekeydodahday.  :p

ty, I assume you were one of the 109s?

I only asked because Morph said he put 2 30mm in my NIK and I kept flying.  My FE and film showed a clear miss.  I guess something is up cause around the same time I emptied the full NIK ammo on a LANC from d400 and got one engine smoking, lol.  Switched to a Tyff after that and the probs went away.

yes the baby blue 109G6 with the handicap sticker dangling from the rear view mirror was mine.  I saw no sprites of any kind on a 0 distance vertical deflection that should not have been a miss.  I did get some 13mm only pings on you on the second pass both times.
