Alright, those website hot counters you see on the bottom of websites...I found one where everytime I hit refresh it goes up one. How do they actually work ?

They're also so very retro. No website is truly complete without a visible counter and (this is the important part) a nuclear explosion animated gif.

Of course, with that comes the white writing on a black background using multiple fancy fonts.

Haven't we all been there yet?
