we had enough of "what plane you want next" type of threads, those threats are getting annoying.

so in this thread post what plane you do not want to see in AH.

for me:

any P38 varient :p
and a the B29, P61, F8F and F7f

lets see how long will it take for this thread to become a flame war :)

i do not want to see the meteor, it didn't make it in time for the war.

i dont want to see the b29, because if i have heard right it only operated above the japanese defense capabilities (at least planes). if what i have heard is true we should only get it if HTC impliments a minium altitude of 35k to release bombs. otherwise all we will have is huge 200' AGL bombers killing themselves droping insaine ammounts of bombs to kill 1 panzer

i do not want to see the 4 cannon p51. it never saw combat, it was just a test plane, not an actual production platform.

in fact that's the key i think. if there was an actual production line making the plane, and making that specific varient (not some field modded special), and the plane made it into some combat.

no prototypes, no field mod specials (other than plain armorment, like different gun loads). no plane that 5-10 were made in some special situation.
I don't know what to put here yet.

LeMay had the B29's fly at 12k without their guns to get the bombs on target over Japan. When they flew at 25k and up the winds blew their bombs all over the place. So B29 effective stratigy will fit in perfectly in the MA.

Hitech can model the B29 after LeMay's order removing the guns. That would be very reilistic, now wouldn't it...........

We sure dont want any plane that demonstrates the genuis and creativity and wealth of the american Aeroindustry in 1945. That would be bad. Lets just pretend the the US stoped making planes in late 43!

There's wind in the MA?

Seriously, why bother then. Who would fly a 12K capped bomber w/o guns?

Ok My opinion

1. No jets. In fact, I like to se the ones in the game go away. Not that they will but that's how I feel.

2.No uber bombers(i.e. b29).

3. lastly, i agree, if it didn't see combat it doesn't belong here. Just because it was depoyed to a combat unit late in the war but did not see action because the war ended does not mean it qualifies.

There are wind settings so you can have no wind at some alts and have wind at others. So how about turning on wind above 20k?

F7F Tigercat and F8F Bearcat were too late to action in WWII.

Neither same for F4U-4B Corsair and F2G Super Corsair.
