your gonna have to pull the hs and look 1st at the numbers to be shure its the 2600+
wcpuid wont tell you what it is ... just what the clocking is then use whats apropreate .. AE
a 2500+ barton set at
10x200 = 2.0 ghz will show as a 2400+
at 11x 200 = 2.2 ghz it shows as a 3200+
my 2500+ mbarton on water w/ ice oced to this
see it doesnt show what the cpu is anymore... (Whistles quietly as i rma'ed the ram afterwards )
my boot screen says the same thing when starting .. it had that unknown cpu when booting at those ultra high clocking.
So id investigate befor calling foul .. but i would ask for a mainboard thats equal to what was removed though.
(If ya need any more wcpuid pics of different clocking just yell and ill clock mine up and down to show ya more )
