For me it was the battle on the Ice Planet at the beginning of "the empire strikes back".
Giant walking tanks, small rebel aircraft attacking them weaving through their legs, then the escape,  it really kept me riveted more than anything else I can remember.

For me it was the credits rolling at the end of Episodes 1, 2, and 3.

Opening scene of Episode IV...the perspective pitches down to show a desert planet.  Serine, quiet space.  Then an explosion flashes on the screen seconds before a massive ship traverses into view.  Blasts of light and gun fire. And the sound of the engines as it passes our point of view.  Then an even more massive ship begins to traverse.  You suddenly feel the excitement of being drawn into the movie as you watch this schooner being chased by the juggernaut in near slow motion.

Vader after learning of Padme(hotty with naughty bodies) death:

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOO....continued"

I mean come on! what kind of line was that, expect to see that in some cheap knock off movie. Was in awe to see it so poorly said.

I love star wars, ive always liked them and will always.
1 was cool :aok
2 was love (crap)
3 was... killing off everyone cool (:(mace:() and really lame dramatic acting.
some of the acting was as bad as "jeepers creepers" and if youve seen that acting you would know what i mean...

I think we should bring harrison ford back, add some more wookie action and call it a day. " Meessssa thinks usssssa gonna maka aanoddda sequellll and mighttta be good cuz they donttta have two makes all deesa tie's in's to anythings."

I trust George's judgement - some of the scenes were very cool, he tried adding humour with r2d2 and did some great special effects.
Please.... no more killing the good people.:( ... kid slaughter.

Dunno about best scene, but after finally seeing them all (I would hope), I'll go with Empire Strikes Back as best picture.  Had action, suspense, betrayal, and the mushy stuff in it at least had good acting and lines.

The only thing I found remotely entertaining about Episodes I,II,& III was the lightsaber fights.  Really makes watching the old ones a little less impressive.

Amen.  Sitting in the audience as that came across the screen....  Still the most amazing moment in my life when it comes to movies.

Without a doubt, but George Lucas made me do it.

Ep IV:  The attack on the Death Star.  The enhancements made on the revised edition were incredible.

Space fighter combat at it's best!  Wish it could of been longer!
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

If they moved "The End" to the beginning and coupled it with an annoucement that that they would be no more sequels , then that would be the best scene.
