i dont want to see the b29, because if i have heard right it only operated above the japanese defense capabilities (at least planes). if what i have heard is true we should only get it if HTC impliments a minium altitude of 35k to release bombs. otherwise all we will have is huge 200' AGL bombers killing themselves droping insaine ammounts of bombs to kill 1 panzer

i do not want to see the 4 cannon p51. it never saw combat, it was just a test plane, not an actual production platform.

I don't mind that you don't want em.  Just get the facts straight please.  616 Squadron was operating Meteors from July 44.  last I checked that was before the end of the war by a  bit :)

There certainly were 4 cannon Allison engined P51s flying combat in the Med.

Found two photos right away.  One with at least 77 mission symbols painted on it.  Guess he missed the memo about not seeing combat :)

No real reason anyway and I'm far from wanting to see a plane removed.

Plane I do NOT want to see? P39 (any variant).

Why? Because a vocal minority have been shouting for it for a while now, claiming "oh, it was so great, it'll do excellent down on the deck!" when if fact there will be a brief burst of use and then it will NEVER be used again. WBs was bad enough. Imagine the enhanced flight engine AH2 has. The thing will be a piece of s***.

I do not ever want to see it because we have so many other holes in the planeset, and a plane that will be put on the shelf a week after it is modeled isn't going to fill those holes any.

Yes, vulching is combat. Chuck Yeager didn't have a problem with vulching when he shot down that 262 coming in for fuel in his 'stang. He also doesn't seem to hold a grudge against the 190 pilot that h.o.'d him.

To the point, wouldn't introducing any of the later model planes off-set the M.A. if they weren't perked? I myself have few fighter points, & am not that good a dogfighter...I think something like 30 planes shot down & 14 assists in nearly 150 sorties, but I would like to see as wide a range of aircraft (& G.V.'s) that Hi-Tech can introduce. Just have them perked accordingly, it doesn't matter to me what model of plane shoots me down.

This one helps fill a hole in the Russian early war plane set rather well.  It will be used by the Special Events teams, and I imagine the CT would not mind having it either.

Frankly, the early Russian fighter were abysmal failures. Slow, underpowered guns packages, and unstable (In a bad way I mean). If you want early war VVS you need Mig1 or Yak1. Most of the lend-lease planes are already modeled, so just skin them and you're set.

I agree.  Yak1 to Yak3 would be nice.  I was trying to point out that the P39 is kinda like making two birds since it was used so extensively in Russia early in the war.  I think it was the most common lend lease plane to Russia?  Thus, even if it is not a great plane, it fills a gap for at least a portion of the AH customers.
