Anyone here playing DoD? I love it, awesome game imho, graphics could be better but are ok. Weapons selection is cool (i like the different class selections). Plenty of maps, historical and custom.

Main downside imho is the lack of countries rightnow. Id love to see a stalingrad map with Germany and Russia. They only have Britain, US and germany rightnow, although there are paratroop versions as well.

anyways i play under 12/SS - Traci in the ofc 24/7 avalanch server.
good server usually they change maps quite often and the people are all fairly nice, secure server.

this game isnt near and hackd up as Counter Strike. Ive come across maybe 4-5 in my entire time of playin few years now.

Started playing DoD ever since it came out in beta a few years back.  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play DoD:Source because I bought the retail version of HL2 and have to wait until Activision releases a retail version of DoD:Source that is supposed to come out this summer.

If you're looking for an Eastern War FPS shooter, check out the excellent Red Orchestra.  You'll need UT2004 though.

I used to play DOD from the first beta, but it got old after a while...
