Pretty much how I came across it. Had what I was looking for, had,really good info and a really funky browser helper/ homepage changer it gave me as well as a bfd trojan that took me a while to get rid of till I found out it placed itself in my one of my restore points.
Kept popping up in virus scan daily, and daily antivirus would get rid of it only to come across it again.
Finally found a site that suggested disabling the restore points (which erases all restore points) rebooting, rescanning then enabling the restore points again.
Occasionally I'll click on that site by mistake (usually followed by an OH CHIT) and I have to go through it all over again.
