Well skywolf too be honest when the engine noise is turned down you can hear people on the vox alot better,and it helps your overall situational awareness,and SA is 95% of this game.

Having the engine sounds turned off doesn,t alert the Wife-Ack Battery's.

There should be a minimum engine sound level hardcoded to prevent this kinda thing.

Another why does the b26 how wep? It only moves the MAN pressure like a few notches.

Look a little closer as to when you see a result of using wep.  At sea level?  Nope.  Climb a bit and get some altitude...ahhh...we have sea level manifold pressure again!

Say you're going to hop a flight "over the hump" fully loaded with goats, chickens, ammo and a Jeep.  Are you going to want only rated power or do you want a boost getting that junk off the ground.  I'll take the boost when I'm haulin the junk any day.

Do a little reading, you'll find that some civilian jet airliners had water injection...wrap your brains around that.
