Remington Model 870 Pump shotguns.
First one I got was 20ga, cut stock off to fi, still my favorite for shooting slugs at deer, or other large objects.
12 ga trap model, extra high rib, double beads, 30 " barrel, full choke. Anything inside of 70 yards is in major danger when this girl is loaded. Mostly used it to shoot trap, but I have a nice assortment of duck & goose loads for it. Its the one thats loaded standing 2 feet from my bed.
Last is a 16 Ga that my grandfathers brother in law owned. He willed it to me many years ago. Grandma found it abd a letter after grandpa died. No rib, plain jane, this gun has seen years of service and is smooth as silk. I've shot a few pidgeon & Pheasant with it. Mostly it sits in a place of honor to remind me of an old man & a boy who loved to fish together.
Rifles have come & gone in my life, but its the shotguns that have the most meaning for me.
