I've got lots of pics of the area, but you should post yours first. I was hiking there in 2003. It was on that trip that I met my American friend, CPP - Californian Pistol Packer - lol - a gun owner who hates his gun. :lol

A lot of the landscape bears strong resemblance to the AH1 pizza map. (Did they ever do the pizza map for AH2?)

That area is so much like Austria - which of course it once was...

Furb! Not sure whether that was meant to be a joke, so I'll give a straight answer. Dolomites = mountain range between Italy and Austria. Triumph Dolomite was also a make of British car - a bit before your time though. :D
