I believe in free speech but......
« on: May 31, 2005, 06:02:16 PM »
I know some of you hate Sean Hanity but I think you'll actually hate his guest more.  This guy is an ultra melon that needs to catch a beating.  I'm all for free speech but even speech that's free has consequences. http://vinceautmorire.typepad.com/crook2.mpg(this link was working earlier...check back later)

Here's these moron's website:

http://www.forsakethetroops.net/

These guys have NO CLUE what they are talking about and NO CLUE how military housing/pay scale works.

From their website:
Quote

Our underlying problem is this: the military is a lifestyle these morons chose. What idiot risks their life for a country? It's what they chose. Hopefully, they knew in their hearts this is abusing taxpayers' money, and they enlisted anyway. So...Forsake our Troops! Let 'em die in combat-- we don't need their ilk in this country!

U.S. Soldier= Poster child for retroactive abortion

NINE MORE MARINES' CAREERS BLOW UP IN THEIR FACES
Don't military pukes learn anything? Nine more Marines bite the big one in combat. Stupid is as stupid does! http://www.forsakethetroops.net/news_stories.html

I wanted to see who Micheal Crook was so I clicked on the link to his site.

Private Site: Login Please
Michael Crook's Official Website is now a private site. Therefore, you must login.

If you have not been granted a username and password, kindly go **** yourself.

Was what his page is. Not surprising.

Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done over this other than get angry or just ignore them and not let their voice mean anything.

I'll go with ignore and let them return to being insignicant nothings.

sniper training targets.
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

If there were no soldiers, who are you going to get to fight a war?

But to blantantly disrespectful to any man or woman is just wrong.

Gunslinger,

In 1984 Memorial Day I was in the Starry Plow Irish bar in Berkeley CA. I was at the bar with an aquaintence when I toasted our sevice men through history. Being an Irish bar there were quite a few gents who answered the toast with their own. The aquaitance had a different take on the issue. He pipes up that they were all fools for dieing in wars for this country and that the Militairy was wrong for fighting the wars. Six men picked him up and ussered him out the bar so quick it was surreal. I didn't see him for a few months. Seems he spent at least one month in the hospitol curtosey of six vets of different militairy backgrounds from the IRA to an ex Rhodesian officer. They didn't care whose Militairy was dissed. You respect the fallen for having been there.

They were drinking in the same bar wern't they?  They respect the risks they each take, not the politics behind it.  Anyone willing to die to protect others deserves respect, no matter what their personal reason for assuming the risk.

Sorry Liz, I don't see in the post where Brit military types were drinking in an Irish bar, in 1984, with IRA types.

I mean, if this guy had said, "Anyone who joins the British military is asking for a trip to N. Ireland, and so they deserve what they get," in an Irish pub and all, he'd have ended up in hospital for a month?
