I am actually having fun with it and have yet to have a CTD, but like you said. The FM is ahem....

My own inital post on the bug forum, but this post got a bit more busy with comments from the developers, who at first says that everything was dandy and they were all tested by real pilots, but started to finally get that a P47 do NOT climb to 40,000ft in 2:30

LOL Snef !

Riding the B17 rocks tho   I love the effect of the Guns hitting & planes doing a "big ball O fire"  or go screamng down in flames ...  .

However, I didn't know these blokes (back in the 40's) never cleaned their window/windshields... It's Disgusting!

Funny thing:
I went back to Win2000 (Long story..) and installed B-17 II again. Everything goes well untill starting to roll to runway.
Stupid thing gives more throttle when I put stick left and lowers rpm when right... But ailerons works same time just fine
Now all I can do is fly left... left... left etc..etc.. Funny little "Gem" we have here
And yes; I tried to calibrate stick (MsPrecPro), Checked again and again and again all stick set-ups...

Someone wanna buy a B-17 II?

B17 what?

No multiplay after practicing for over a year with the v91st, that one is a store shelf sitter even if it were perfection personified!

I like the tracer fire - it just looks 'right'. I also love the clickable cockpit.

The fighters, on the other hand, fly like they are on rails. Pull back hard in AH and you're likely to go into a spin - do it B17-II and you've looped like you were in an F-16.

On the B-17II BBS someone said that perhaps prop fighters may have a thrust/weight ratio >1. Thats why B17-II fighters get alt so quickly   lol

The game is already out of my HD, very nice WWII movie, BTW
