CV Aircraft on Deck
« on: June 04, 2005, 01:38:03 PM »
Greetings :)  Searched the website for info as to HOW to FOLD/UNFOLD wings on naval aircraft on the CV, but wasn't successful, is there any such info available ??   HTC ?

I landed F4U-1A on CV, tried to fold the wings but the info's missing, likewise on getting A/C on deck prior to takeoff the wings are already unfolded, is there any way that a pilot can
handle folding/unfolding of wings on ALL USN A/C on CVs ?

Cheers,

Happy1  :D

lol Happy1.

There's no Fold/Unfold wings naval aircraft in Aces High and there is no F4U-1A this game either.

lololol :) Thx Pappy, I meant F4U-1, it's a typo on my part, sorry to
hear that HTC doesn't have the fold/unfold feature, hopefully in the near future ??

Hmm I don't know, I think it has no useage.
Why would you want to fold the wings?

IMO that the extra mb's involved versus the visual effect/usefullness ratio is a bit uneven.

I doubt it will happen

Maybe for those planes with wing fold capability can get repairs within that 30 second re-arm period. A little gamey, but this is a game!

Repairs such as missing ailerons, flaps, patch up leaks, etc.

Why only for the wing-folding aircraft?
Whould be nice to see you being able to just park in a hangar and get repaired. (What else are hangars for?)
