Pretty fair assessment of the game.  I just bought it Friday and have made it through the first 5 maps.  I didn't think it would be possible to actually make a game this much better than Rogue Spear... boy was I wrong.

i havent played these since raimbow 6.. are they that much better? if i have OFP are they worth picking up?

Good review.  I have asked for some changes to the team control on the Ubisoft Dev Forum.  The same kind of stuff you were talking about.  I want seperate control of their posture and firing ROE, and I want to be able to make them truly HOLD where they are.
