4.0m is way better but its a little sloppy control wise. I had to make a few adjustments.

Trim is back to a primary flight control surface like it was before the trim delay fix.

I think trim and flaps in IL2 are some weakest elements in the game. While trim delay was a stupid fix its way better then what they have now. A quick script for your js locking trim control to your aileron/elevator axis and you get a faster response in both turn and roll.

Flaps on an axis is another one of those things that suck. Planes that didn't have 'dial trim' can get them in game. The Spits for instance had only 2 position for flaps (up and down). In FB the have the same range / setting as all the others if you put trim on an axis (wheel).

The MG151/2cm are much better though.

The 190s are a lot like AHs now.

How is it for a "box" game, in other words for non online uses?
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

It's pretty good - ai is a little predictable as would be expected but no map icon navigation and limited icons make up for it - eye candy is amazing.

I don't understand why they just don't make the trim only 10% of what it is now.

For example, one click gives you 10% or so of the control surface in the direction you want. Right now, its taking the entire control surface.

The only good thing is that now if you trim a lot, you'll go into spins/stall out from high AoA in low speed circumstances. Or your plane will fall apart in high speed circumstances. Where as before, you had the instant turns that were a bigger joke.
