Need some suggestions

When I get back from my hiatus from this game, I am looking to buy a laptop so I can check my score/stats while flying so I do not have to alt/tab on my main computer.  I would also like the capability to utilize the Powerbuilder programming tool and object libraries to create a utility that can constantly refresh the stats and scoring page and signal me when some threshold is achieved (such as K/D ratio, hit percentage, etc..).  It would actually be cool if horns or other sounds could execute when goals are hit.  I believe I could actually use Powerbuilder capabilites to automatially announce these achievements to the BBS.

Any suggestions on what type of Laptop to buy?

well, i dont think you will be able to do what you are planning, because querring the score database has a 1 minute limit, meaning you must wait one minute before "refershing" the page or looking for another score.

i forgot why they inplemented this, but it is a possible gameplay / server issue. they can't have it being constantly bombarded with requests.

anyone know how to build a dll utility so when my K/D ratio hits a certain level I can turn on my outside lights?

I dont know abot the laptop, but you can over come the 1min time limit easy.

You just need to get 60 ISP accounts and a small server cluster of 60 computers.

This way you can code each server to check your score at a certain second, of every minute.

Simple !
