Yea, that`s what were talking about. I just had it mapped to the Z key.

OK. I was just trying to point out that there are two separate commands for "zoom" and "default zoom". Are you sure you have tried the latter?

If you are referring to the bracket keys the answer is yes, but they will not operate unless default zoom is working.

OK, I still didn't make myself clear... :)
Now I'll say it in detail:

There are four keys that control the zoom system: By default, these are:

Zoom:  Z
Zoom in:  ]
Zoom out:  [
Default zoom:  SHIFT-Z

Have you tried using the last one, or remapping it? Not sure if it'll solve the problem, but it's always worth a shot!

I've always had that problem. And a re-install was still a 50/50 chance of it actually working. I'm not sure what causes it, but I get the same problems you do. And have tried all the remedies. No joy.

Estes, here is how I finaly cured my problem under Skuzzy`s direction.
Skuzz told me to rename the "settings" folder and move it some place else. I renamed the folder to "AHsettings" and placed it on the desktop.
This should have put all settings back to deafault. When I loaded the game up I still had the same problem as before.
I was about to try it again when I noticed in the HTC folder that I had an "AHsettings" folder instead of a "settings" folder as it should have defaulted back. Somehow it had picked up and reinstalled the same settings.
I deleted the "AHfolder" settings from both the game folder and the one on my desktop that I had moved there.
Loaded the game up and the problem was solved.
Now all that is to be done is to reset everything the way I want them.
Skuzz thinks maybe something got corrupted, possibly through my anti-virus program.
  Hopes this works for you.
