I know.

Heh me and my squadmates recently declared 36 a ffa zone. Sometimes we play no vulch but its usually do whatever it takes to get the kill. Anything goes. You guys should visit us sometimes. And remember.....Free for All at 36

I don't have a problem with kid's having fun, or a field being used as a FFA.

What I have a problem with is it spilling out to other area's of the DA ,where people are trying to set up duels with a set of rules attached.

If you want to FFA, have at it. Just don't interfere with others who are not there to engage in a FFA.

far as I know nobody has the right to declare anything.
The DA is just that, a dueling areana. Not a FFA.

Its things like this that has turned the DA into a total joke.
If it keeps going the way it is it will also die.

And just FYI... Bombers are NOT disabled in the DA.

Once again WE NEED A MODERATOR OR SOMETHING in the DA!!
HTC are you listening?

There is an area in the DA thats designated FFA - in fact its written on the map. There's a little pond in the middle of it. Wonder why there is never anyone there?

Because the DA "rules" (if there are any anymore) are not adequately posted and enforced.  No problem with FFA in designated area, but it should be designated and enforced.

I still go to the DA, but am forced to accept that any individual can change the rules to his liking at any time.  I do not believe that this is optimal, and hopefully HTC will have some time to devote to this issue soon.

FFA in the DA is like halfassed MA furballing. And in my opinion a waste of time in the DA. Far be it for me to tell them what to do with their time. I just dont see what anyone can or will learn from being vulched by a 10 year old in the DA screaming eat my watermelon ahole over vox.

Though, if I go to the DA its going to be to work on ACM in a 1v1 or 2v2 manner. Something that is organized and something that will help hone my fighting skills for the MA. The DA for me, like the TA for a new player, is there to learn and or practice. I often go in there with a squadmate, and fly a different plane just to try and learn something new about a certain plane I never fly in the MA. And 9 times out of 10, I will come away knowing something I didnt when I went in.

I just think its a shame because there is a designated FFA (Fighter town if you wiil)  in the DA and few use it. If the FFA in the DA was used more, I think I'd visit the MA less. I've seen many posts in the past asking for a fighter town, and there is one - its in the DA and no one uses it.

This is written after dropping a drop tank and chasing a typhie who would rather commit suicide than be shot down.

i used to use it but it sucks when you get a check 6 from someone 200 off your 6. or when your about to merge with somone and get picked. when you go to different fields they follow. It isn't really a fighter town, it is a bunch of noobs who belong and the TA but choose DA because they like to see the boom! if teams left from 2 different fields and met in the middle with no alt and no speed advantage then that would be good furballing.

I'd go for that. I'm no good but I like furballing and anyone who has done it knows how addictive it is.
