Hi all..
Yesterday, after a long sweat filled afternoon in the MA, I was about to log off and noticed that there were about 40? 50? people in the DA!  Wow..

I figured there must've been a whole lot of insultory "gauntlets" thrown down in the MA.  The DA (in my mind) has always been this scary, insidious place, where personal "scores" are settled, prides & egos are vented, etc.  In 1v1 rage matches.

But NO!  Not any more!

There were planes buzzing around a "friendly" field like flies on dung!  There was a string of green planes lifting off,, ONE ON TOP OF EACH OTHER!  Some were simply blasting away at the one in front of it whil'st taking off! hahaaha!

One vox voice sounded like a 4 year old who'd inhaled helium! LMAO!!  He squeeked and sqwauked, and people hosed him down..  Someone said;

"Attention! You must first chk6, then receive a chk6 before showing a hostile intent"

The guy that said it was then gang blasted by about 20 planes converging shot streams!! (FUNNY!)

After the past hours in the MA, this was (is?) GREAT COMIC RELIEF!  Like the old MSN/online CFS.

I suppose anyone who wants a private 1v1 grudge match could've gone to any of the other 50 fields to do their bidding..  But this?  Simply a RIOT!

I thought that the TA was for this type of stuff?  Guess not.  (I hate to admit that it was actually somewhat? um? "Fun"? to be a kid again?  Like vandals throwing eggs at the neighbors house.. laughing like hell, and running away.

On the other hand, I can see why some of us would get MEGA PO'd at the sight of what I saw yesterday in the DA.  Oh well..

lol, this is whats so funny about it, u get lil kids vulching, so 10 peeps fly from another field and kill him over and over, till he gets the message. i think actually the da is far better than the da for learning, fun, arguments, its wicked. whatever happens, things in da must never be changed!!!:lol

Oh yeah, common courtesy should never even enter into the equation.:rolleyes:

DA is degenerating into a poorly run daycare, where the toddlers are holding the reigns. This type of attitude and behaviour enforces it.

I fail to see the humour.

RV, what time was it man?  I spent like 4 hours in there last night and it looked a little different.  Different field maybe?

I think you should leave the DA alone as well. Hell nothing more fun than trying to up a plane to get shot on the runway. Or getting of the ground to be picked off by several people at once. screw coutesy. Let the DA be another place for people to do what they want at others expense. Moderate the thing and letthe real DA come back. It is missed.

A couple of days ago, a LANC rade came in from the enemy field and dropped on the FHs.

Same day, moved to a different field to avoid what RV is talking about.  Withing 5 mins, idiot shows up asking us to get togeter and raid the enmy field.  No one was at the enemy field :lol

I don't understand the DA anymore. The last few times I went in there, everyone was on the same team! How do you fight like that?

I know, another guy accused Dedalos of doing nothing but running from fights, which I know is not true. I've only seen Dedalos in the middle of a pile of Spits in a P-40 all by himself, so I kid him about being a runner whenever I see him. :)

I'll assume the second part of your story is bs too, lol

No MOTD, no moderators in there either, Im sure if HTC had a problem with what goes on in there, they'd take care of it, lol

Bunch of kids havin a good time shootin each other down
at one field in a free for all, so what,,,let em have thier fun
