I love this. Sad for the dogs though.

 Two individuals from Hampton Roads, employees of the Norfolk-based People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, were arrested Wednesday night in Ahoskie, N.C., on animal cruelty charges.

The two were arrested after authorities allege they dumped dead dogs and cats in a dumpster at a shopping center on Memorial Drive in Ahoskie.

No word from the people involved as why/what/how yet either.

are the rumors true about PETA's huge freezer full of dead animals they have euthenized (sp)?

I thaught I heard something on Pen & Teller about that.

I'm not a fan of PETA at all, but if they're euthanizing unwanted pets I wouldn't hold that against them.

If anyone is going to do that dirty, suck-egg job, it should be folks that care. Or at least say they care.

I've had to put down 3 Labs myself. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

The problem is the animals were alive when they picked em up at the shelter, and dead after a 30 minute drive to the dumpster..how were they killed is the question and why illegally dump them?

If thats the case then it would look to me like they were possibly trying to set someone up.

Well, just like the catholic church drawing Pedophiles to its girth, PETA draws its share of sicko's too.  I think we know how those animals ended up dead.

It was an episode of "BULLS**T" where they made the claim that there was a large freezer for storing euthenized animals PETA "rescued"....they (Penn & Teller) didn't claim it was constantly full though.

Actually, I think we don't. I think we a jumping to conclusions here. Rather than risk leaping over contrary facts, how about we wait two weeks (TM) and see what the investigation shows?
