Was wondering if anyone has been to or has any info on the current state of affairs in Romania.

I had thought that after they kicked Chowchesque (def not spelled right) and that bunch out of power that things would be turning around by now.

This seems not to be the case as a friend of mines son went with a mission to Romania and had all the shoes they were going to give to the needy kids confiscated by customs.

Its a group that gets shoe stores and manufacturers to donate shoes so they can get em to those that need em while preaching.
I think they call it "just for feet", like the store chain.

Ceausescu.

They may be lacking in the faith department, but I think the Romanians are doing okay for shoes.

I can think of several other places that could use a nice infusion of Nikes, but their spiritual bent is rather hardened, and they may not be as receptive to the "sneakers for jesus" bribe.

I guess it comes down to a simple supply/demand equation:

Who needs shoes, and who is willing to cough up those hard-earned jesus dollars?

Crucified a Nun, and he's like.. "so whats the big deal? We do it all the time.."

..and should the priest be convicted.. 20 years?

twenty years.. for murder?

man, that's just messed up.

The "priest" was right in one aspect. The deceased was delivered frm evil, the "priest's" particular evil. May she rest in peace.
