Anyone have a 2005 Mustang?
« Reply #15 on: June 21, 2005, 01:08:36 PM »
One of my customers rolled up in a new gold Stang convertable yesterday. Very sharp ride. So far, all the new Stang owners I've seen are female. Kind of surprising, but when you think about it when the Mustang was introduced in the 60's the majority of buyers were female.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

My head rested against the B-pillar in that year  (actually since 1990 models) no matter what position the seat was in.  The new ones have more head room. (Yeah, let the "fat head" jokes begin)Instant death if you ever get T-boned.

Hehe! And BMW saved me about $15,000 when they changed the design of their 5-series. Thank you Bangle!

i ride my conv Gt..love that ride..

only thing I  dont like..

LIVE REAR AXLE...boooooooooooooooooooo

and rip..if you were the one in a v6 i woudl laff...

But the way my v8 rides..a girl in it is baadddd idea..Its very easy to get sideways...Dam its fun..but when you go to the mustang graveyard..u see so many of those rides smashed up...

Ligth car...big engine..rear live axle = bouncing rear end in uneven corners tires lose traction and spin like a newb in a me110

Kalisto, I'll pass the congrats onto the wife.

Greencloud, do you have an 05' GT? If so, how long did you wait for it? I have a co-worker that ordered one in march and he has to wait until Sept.(they changed it from an 05' to an 06' since the 06' production line begins in late august)

My 2005-GT just passed 4,000 miles on the odometer. i have owned 14 different Mustangs over the last 25 years;
1 @ 65 coupe
8 @ 67 (coupes fastbacks and convertibles)
2 @ 69 (one notchback one sportsroof)
1 @ 87 GT 5.0
1 @ 97 Cobra
and the new one.

The interior is cheap with regards to the materials but fit and finish are excellent. I paid $25,418.00 for mine, I don't think you can beat the combination of styling and quality for that price, I KNOW you cannot beat the performance for $25K. Also, the rear axle plants better on this car than I ever thought a solid could hook-up.

I just bought an '06 mustang.

It out-excelerates, out corners, and just out performs a BMW.  End of story.
