Kind of hard to shoot something down while running.

AKAK says it can outloop a spit5, which is untrue.

Pellik says p38 can stand a chance at 130mph in a turnfight.

You guys set up a time, if you care to prove your reasoning, and I will gladly attend to show you otherwise.

Not trying to bash on 38, because I love it, but those comments are totally false.

Go to the 479th Film library and download one of mine, pellik's or Murdr's films.  I've posted enough of them showing it, but with everything in life, YMMV.

Ohh.. you've posted film of a pilot of equal skill, being outlooped in  a spit 5, and you in a 38?

I didn't manage to find any films of showing this, with pilots of equal ability.  I've outlooped zekes and hurricanes before, but that doesn't mean much to me considering they were probably 2 weeks new.
Im not trying to pick a fight, I'd just like one of you, or both of you to prove your point to me.

I'll fly the spitV if you'd like.

I love 38's. They're badass planes.

At 130mph though, they're canon fodder for a spitv.

Umm, have been here a long time, I think I know about the patch and have flown all the 38s.  But there are more 38s that could be modeled that would bring more fun to us 38 fans, such as the 38F, 38D, and the 38H.  Or we can model the 38L again with 6x50s instead of the mount we have now or the 12x50s 38 that were tested but believe werent used.

Why?  I've already shown without a shadow of a doubt how terribly inferior the P-47 is.  I mean, even a Ju87D-3 is far more deadly.  It's time  to wake up and smell the coffee YUCCA ;)

Hehe, I luv reading akak's delusional delapitated dribble :D

In the last 7 days, the score is Nomde's Jug = 4, akak's pee38 = 0. Keep working with that 2 engine pile of bovine fermentation wannabe akak, I'm sure you'll graduate to the superior handling of the Jug someday. :D

Just for reference looking up plane against plane, the p38 is better than the p47 so far this tour:
38L vs p4730 66 kills 69 deaths
38L vs p4725 26 kills and 41 deaths
38L vs p4711 14 kills 37 deaths
38J vs p4730 118 kills 45 deaths
38J vs p4725 30 kills 23 deaths
38J vs p4711 28 kills 23 deaths
38G vs p4730 23 kills 9 deaths
38G vs p4725 5 kills 11 deaths
38 G vs p4711 3 kills 7 deaths
Total this tour 313 kills 265 deaths

But also you have to see that p47s dont turn and all you see them do is BnZ you to death, at least the p38 can turn with other planes.

Nothing beats the 38 in AH, however in real life my favorite plane is the p47 but I havent been able to learn how to fly the p47 well and just dont have the options that the p38 has in AH.
