Hitech scores a kill
« on: June 21, 2005, 10:23:00 AM »
Yesterday around noon I made the mistake of arriving on station at 123 (I think)  and ran into an enemy hord.  I was in a 109 G-2 and all I could see was red icons.  Well to make a long story short... I flapped around all over the place doing everything I could think of to stay alive and managed to kill three of the enemies and then started taking rounds in my buttocks.  I tried everything I could think of to get out of the fire and eventually went down.  I believe it was a P-47 but am not quite sure as there were so many AC on my anyclock position.  I died and then I saw that it was Hitech that did the dirty deed.  I was amazed!  Not that he killed me but that he actually took the time out of his busy day and took off his business suit and flew with us peons.  I saluted him  but I don't monitor ch 200, I really wanted to tell him how much I appreciated him just comming out and flying with/against  us and  I've rarely seen a game developer actually play his product while not wearing shades (alternate account).  All in all it was one heck of a time and it was also the highest single mission amount of perk points to date for me.  I must have been awarded some for being killed by him. hehehee

Hitech

heh, I shot down HT once...but he got me twice that same day.  Was right after I first started and I thought it very cool to see the developers (Pyro, at least, was flying too, i am pretty sure) playing the game like the rest of us.

Didn't know Ht was part of that horde fest at 123 though :D

oops, actually that was earlier than i was on anyway.

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

When I first joined, it was a regular occurence to see HiTech and some of the crew flying around.

took off his business suit

He's not a business suit kinda of guy. A business suit on him would look real funny with a big buldge in his pocket from his always available "Magic Deck 'O Cards".

Or do you mean Deck of Magic card," as in Magic: The Gathering?  If not, please disregard the inherant nerdiness evident in this post.

After Skuzzy added his new smaller tank towns I found him in a panzer. We traded kills a few times. Was fun.
