Today's auction find... (Or, why goaly slurrs on VOX)

Here is today’s estate auction find.
3 unopened bottles of Jim Beam whiskey.



The one on the right is dated 1970 and is listed as 155 month aged before bottling. The middle one is dated 1971, and the one on the right is dated 1973 and has a 175-month label… All 3 bottles for fifteen bucks!

Not to worry FURIOUS… I keep whatever whiskey I’m working on at the time in my 150 year old “Little Brown Jug”. Those fancy bottles usually disappear before I’ve had my first sip.



I’m kinda partial to drinking out of the old “BC” glasses though.

Another batch of  “Dead guy’s” booze from yesterdays auction…



The Jim Beam is dated 1974. The wine is dated 1966 & 1967.
I’m not normally a wine drinker, but I got all four bottles for a dollar.
