For Release Tuesday, June 28 to all other media

Weare, New Hampshire (PRWEB) Could a hotel be built on the land owned by Supreme Court Justice David H. Souter? A new ruling by the Supreme Court which was supported by Justice Souter himself itself might allow it. A private developer is seeking to use this very law to build a hotel on Souter's land.

Nope, it will not happen, unless the property is sitting on a nuclear waste dump and this is the only way he can get a good price for it.

The ruling is just another sign the court is out of touch with the nation.  It's not their place to legislate, only to rule on laws in place to see if they fall within the constitution.

One could only hope, but like others have said -- snowball's chance in hell.

Open up the closed thread.

Just in case someone doesn't see this one.

I have my hopes and prayers sent out to this guy. I truly hope he manages to take that legislative pompas ass's home away from him.

You can bet he will get the THE top dollar for the property, if it does happen.

Sadly, I seriously doubt if the local council has the bucks to pull that one off. Plus, by a strange coincidence, eminent domain decisions seem to be leveled more against  relatively unconnected lower middle-class shleps and hardly ever against well-heeled lawyers. "Thou shallt not even think of parking thy chariot in Caesar's private space"

Can you even imagine the world of hurt a Supreme Court Justice could bring down on a local town council? My guess is that they'll publically burn the request.

Where can I invest in this hotel venture?  It is indeed a sad day when unelected officials can with a single decision sweep away the concept of personal property rights, as invisioned by the Founders.  If ever there was ample evidence of the need to re-populate the Supreme Court, this is it.
