bullet question
« on: June 28, 2005, 01:34:44 PM »
I found a cartridge that looks a lot like my .303's, but not sure if it is.

It says 1943 Pl,z on the rim. It matches the 180 gr. .303's i have almost exactly, except 'bullet' is longer and more pointed.

Anyone know this round? Is it just an older .303?

Need pictures if possible...  Wild stab in the dark says it's a 7.62x54r, however I haven't enough info to say anything about it yet.

stick it in your 303 and see what happens.

Wait, scratch that.  Find someone who knows what they are talking about :aok
