Thanks guys.
No Dred, it's one of my other brothers.
The Doc's decided that it was'nt a big emergency after all, and the surgery can wait till Monday.
So I go pick him up, and the first thing he does is take off his cervical collar.
Keep in mind that he can barely walk .
I tryed to tell him the possible consequences (ie, Ya wanna be like Christopher Reeves ?)but it does'nt seem to want to sink into his thick skull.
I mean jeez, he's got a 8mm buldge pushing on his spinal cord and he don't wanna wear his collar 'cause "it's uncomfortable".
If his neck was'nt so messed up, I think I'd slap him upside the head with a pipe to get his attention.
Thanks for the thoughts, vibes and prayers, and if you know any "anti stupidity prayers", throw those in also :aok

Update
He had his surgery on the 6th (wendsday).
When they took the disk out he sprung a spinal fluid leak , so they had to fix that.He was on the table for 6 hours.
He got home saturday, and can already move better then when he went in.:)
He has a ways to go, but it looks like the surgery was a success.
Thanks for all the prayers and positive vibes, keep them coming, every little bit helps !

Glad to hear he's doing better. I hope he makes a full recovery. Did they fuse the 2 vertebra or use an artificial disk to replace it? Once he heals you are going to talk to him about getting PROMPT medical attention in the future right?

Hi Flit,

Thanks for the update, I was hoping the surgery went well. I will keep him in prayer for his recovery. :)

Good to hear all is well
Wishing him a speedy recovery
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty
