The Good War
by Studs Terkel

Not what I call a lot of fun, but it gives you insight as to what war is really about.  I suppose what really struck me was the difference between the Ground war in Europe and that in the Pacific. Fighting the Japanese was quite a bit different then fighting the Germans.

Thanks Daddog,

I always enjoyed Studs Terkel back when Larry King was on late night AM radio. I never read any of Terkel's work before. I will now.   Thank you!
