Me!!! MEE!!!

I wanna be a General.

I am the very model of a modern Major-General
I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral
I know the kings of England, and I quote the fights historical
From Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical

I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical
I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical
About binomial theorem I'm teeming with a lot o' news
With many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse

I'm very good at integral and differential calculus
I know the scientific names of beings animalculous
In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral
I am the very model of a modern Major-General

Morpheus.  Definitely.  :D He's always going on about how we should join his missions to capture bases and win the war.  Yells at people for not taking out FHs on the first pass.  Heck, I've heard him berate his own squaddies for not taking out the ammo/radar factories quick enough.  :lol

We had one the other night - slimpkin?? something like that, was getting an ear bashing while trying to fight; about what we should do, then he was crying about a spit shooting him down.  I am not one to enjoy constant chatter on vox - it really bugs me. So i eloquently told him to be quiet....

at which point he squelched me.

oh well! bothered!
I am not ashamed to confess that I am ignorant of what I do not know.

You're obviously talkin about me.  Now enough bantering and follow through with your orders and be my bait.

navajo, watch for the following words or phrases:
Waisting vaulualable resorces. Sutpid furbalers. Jabo. Get teh town down. Quite waisting time. Who's the goon. Strat. Mission. Pork. Hangers. Tehy killd troops. Join. NOE. ALL hangers ded.

Chances are, if you see these, its a general or one of his lapdogs. Morph is one of the worst, but since he's hit puberty, his voice started cracking and we laughed him off the vox channel. He's been relatively quiet since then.

I'm not going to mention any names, but I'm betting I started the 'Arm Chair Generals' description of them, do a search if you wish to contest.  :)

Did you actually know the words (Please tell me your life is more interesting than that)) or had to look them up (Either way way too much time on your hands)?

Still a great response though!

I only have the first stanza memorized.  But the Pirates of Penzance is SUCH great humor.
