Memories / planning a map
« on: June 30, 2005, 10:51:37 AM »
Found these whilst looking for something else.  Original concept images I used in the very very early days of planning equinox, or snowflake as I was calling it at the time.

Finally, once I'd got the elevations all sorted and the land masses sorted in the TE I got it to make a map and transfered it all to that.  This is the final planning image with all the information I needed layed out on it.  Stuff in red is changes from the original with a couple of islands having dissapear to make things more interesting.

Linking it coz its big, 1mb or so. 2048x2048 image.

It certainly helped me keep track of everything I wanted to do and I also have a file somewhere with all the pencil scribbles in it. I'd carry around a draft, very pale copy of the map on A4 so I could scribble over and make notes on it at work.  Just something to think about if anyones planning something big.
