Bye Nuke, I figure you just stepped on it there.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

What Skuzzy said is that it's okay for some people to violate the rules if common sense is used, others can leave if they don't follow the rules.

actually, yer pulling the whiney, stamp feet and pout bit my kid used ta pull whe she was informed that she was expected to do as I say, and not as I do.

You've had it explained to yah no less than a dozen times that this is NOT freedom hall, it is somebody elses BBS and whatever they wanna do, for whatever reason, it does not need your approval.. only your compliance.

Get with it, or get lost.
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

"the rules. Abide by them or leave. Simple. Can't abide by them? Then I be happy to show you the door. "

I agree, everyone should follow the rules.

Yeah, there is a double standard.

HT and Heater go way back and HT...the owner of the bbs... makes an exception for the words "putz" and "moron" when used in exchanges between himself and Heater. Always has.

Most of us that have been around since DOS AW know about it and it suprises not at all.

I'll wager you this: If Heater started tossing the F-bomb at HT, there'd be no double standard there.

This is pretty minor Nuke. You're kinda making a mountain out of a molehill here.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Didn't see it, so you're right, I couldn't comment.

But like I said it's minor. Nothing is perfect. HT and Heater have been doing this since about the beginning of online WW2 flightsims.

I am aware of the relationship between HT and Heater.

My post was not complaining about it, yet was taken by Skuzzy to be.

Well, as you know, intardent exchanges are much more likely to be taken incorrectly than a face to face personal discussion and free exchange of ideas.

No real harm, is there? If not... why not let it drop?
