Greetings aces

I've recently found a true multiplayer FPS gem. True Combat is a Enemy Territory total conversion featuring modern combat in the well known Terror/Antiterror setting.

It's quite realistic when it comes to aiming and equpiment but of course it cannot get rid of its Q3 roots.

Some of the beta levels are fantastic and offer a yet to be seen realistic combat enviroment (for a mulitplayer shooter).

So get the downloads started. Nothing to lose, everything free...

When I saw 'ET Total Conversion', I was sort of hoping for a moment that your post would be about a game where you fly bicycles around in aerial combat with an alien huddled in the front basket.

The more I think about it, the more I think that needs to be created. But not by the official folks. If Spielberg touches it, then each bicycle would be equipped with walkie talkies instead of 'Turn on Your Heart Light' lasers.

Downloaded it and it doesnt work. I got it all started and theres 0 servers. Then, when I went to create my own to screw around in, it crashed. Are there additional files I need other than ET itself?

United, what I did was to download all the files shown in the download section and install them in the following order:

- WolfET.exe
- ETPatch 1.02
- ETPatch 2.60
- Setup0209_full.exe
- tcetest_048 (just copied over)

Worked on first try...

It's really a promising mod. A mix between CounterStrike and Infiltration (UT mod if anyone remember).

Thats exactly what I did... Except I went

ET.exe
patch 1.02
setup0209
tcetest_048 (this goes in the main tcetest folder, correct?)
etpatch 2.60

Ima try uninstalling and reinstalling here real quick.

11- Do not use overly large signatures. Signatures should not take up more than 5 normal sized text lines in height. Do not use images in your signature.

Did you ever get it to work?

I can't after un-install/re-install it still ctds when I try to host and I can't connect to any other game.

Nope, never did work.

It ran and all, but no servers showed up and when I went to make my own it CTD'd.
