HTC can we have this baby?

Hs 293

I think this would be a great addition sometime for AH. all i know is that the Hs293 was like one of the first guided missiles, and it was guided by the bombierdier with a joystick. To operate in Ah you would hold down F6 for like 3 seconds and get a special cross hairs. You press U to move the cross hairs, and then press your bomb drop bottom to drop the missile, and then move the cross hairs over a target like a BH and press your fire trigger, so then the missles go for that target. If your missle was set for a BH and it was already droped falling to its target and u saw the VH was up, then you could make the missle change course by moving the cross hairs over the VH and pressing the Fire trigger and then the missile would change course and blow up the VH.

I saw on the history channel something about this and it was sometimes successful. The mission i saw was a He-111 droped a Hs293 and the bombiedier guided the missle to a troop carrier carring troops to India threw the Medditriannan sea. When the missle hit the ship it blew the hole thing up. Like 1,000 troops where aboard, maybe more and only 200 lived.

But this is just my thought of what we should add to AH, not now but maybe later in the future. Be nice to fly a He111 and be about 3 miles from a base and drop a guided missile to a target. Tho the plane would only carry 2.

Even tho I don't think AH needs another bomber, I guess I'd rather see the B29 than the German plane.
IF we do get the B29 then it is only fair to allow us defender types to have the Flak-36 "88"

LoL if that comes which would be cool, we would need to setup 2 cv fleets that take major damage like flight ops suspened until repairs are done or 1 buff 5 miles away and BOOM bye bye CV lol:eek:

ok did some research very cool little package and was ready in 1941. heres a bit more

The Hs 293A was essentially a small monoplane built around an SC 500 bomb warhead. The entire length of the missile was 11 feet 87/8 inches with a diameter of 1 foot 67/8 inches. The anterior fuselage housed the thin-walled SC 500 demolition warhead containing 649 pounds of explosive charge.

The warhead contained Trialen 105 explosive (15 percent RDX, 70 percent TNT, and 15 percent aluminum to increase the blast effect). An impact fuse was fitted to the warhead. Since the warhead was of this type and the impact velocity was low at 450 miles per hour, there was small penetration capability. Thus the missile's effect was greatest against lightly armored warships (e.g., destroyers) and thin-skinned freighters.

Find much more on remote piloted bombs from here very good stuff

Id rather see a He111 Before the B29.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
