I understand you completely. However, I expect that another Spitfire and 109 varient will be added when they are updated.

I'll wager that these will be a Spitfire LF Mk.IX and the 109G-14.

:cool:It is a nice reward for us, for sticking with the underdog for years.

Frenchy, I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. The P-47N accelerated slower than the D-40, and climbs no better than the D-11. It's the heaviest Jug, so overall maneuverability will not improve, other than, perhaps, rate of roll. The small increase in wing area should be offset by the added weight.

Expect between 360 and 365 mph on the deck.

I doubt he was expecting to outpace the low-alt standards, but 365mph on the deck in a Jug would be phenomenal. Unless the N is heavily perked (or overhyped) I don't see myself flying much else for a while :)

Fingers crossed for -

Spit LF VIII, LF XVI to be added.
F IX fixed, LF Vb to replace current V, Ia with 12lbs boost.
Seafire IIc to be replaced by the Seafire L III

You can almost bet the P-47N will be perked.

Hands off the Pink Spit IX and Blue Spit V skins!!!! :)

(kinda off topic but...)

I wonder if HTC will change/add  some things for 190s... like adding 190F-3 (attack variant), replacing 190A-5 with 190A-3, and tweaking 190A-8 with new engine (ps just a rumor:))

I actually think people will probably be dissapointed with the P-47N.  It wasn't the hot-rod the P-47M was, it was more like a P-47D with more gas.  It was actually inferior to the D in acceleration and climb rate.  I don't know how it would handle "light", maybe that would make a big difference.

A P-47 with more gas is something we have all been wanting. Upping 8 sectors away and getting to 36,000ft is a Jug Driver's dream!

What kind of ordnance options would the P-47N have? Pretty much same as our D-40? Is there any particular setup that might be interesting??

 Napalm? Clusterbomb? Hellfire missiles? :D
