In the aftermath of 911, I read a book called "The New Jackals".  It describes the attacks on the World Trade Centre, and how the FBI were able to locate and arrest the perpetrators of the 1993 bombing at the WTC - a mission that took them half way around the world. The villain of the piece was "Ramzi Yousef", who is a lifetime guest at a US "correctional facility" near Colorado Springs.

I had lent this book to a friend in America, and he returned it to me by airmail. He would have put it in the mail last week, and it landed on my doormat on the very day of the London bombings.

I highly recommend this book. It is readable and informative without being dull and dry. Still in print, and available from Amazon for as little as £2.

I will have a book out by fall entitled "The Old Jackal...I Don`t Think Carlos Done It This Way".
