<> POO!

For many years, I have recorded songs to mini-disk as my combat psych-up music during sorties.  One of my favorite playlists is:

U.S. Air Force Hymn
Foo Fighters "There Goes My Hero"
Rob Zombie "More Human Than Human"
Soviet National Anthem
Van Halen "Everybody Wants Some"
Pink Floyd "Learning To Fly"
Skorpions "Rhythm of Love"
Silverchair "Year 2000"
Cheap Trick "You Must Be Dreamin'"
Sammy Hagar "Heavy Metal"
Def Leppard "Rock Of Ages"
Spacehog "In The Meantime"

By that time, my Fw 190A8 w/droptank is usually on fumes.

When I fly alone I do sometimes listen to music.. most of the time I dont though because it gives me hard time hearing Vox...

But when I do its...

Some metallica, some linkin, some ramstein, apocalyptica and some times even Linda Lampenius...

Same here. but there are times when I bring music into the game in my head that I've recently listened to that kinda gets me in the zone.

the music that seems to have the greatest effect is

Soundtrack Theme music to "Predator"
Soundtrack theme music to conan the Barbarian "Anvil of Crom"
Soundtrack music to PATTON "German Advance"
Carl Orff "O Fortuna"
Holst "Mars"
Thin Lizzy "Emerald"
Thin Lizzy "the Warrior"
Creedence "Run through the jungle"
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

Pooface, I also noticed this a while back.  Are you using Winamp per chance?

My winamp is a jumble, I have it on shuffle. One minute I can be listening to Guns and Roses or Viloint femmes next I can be listening to Doris Day or Prokofiev, sometimes the transition can be disconcerting.

Radiohead- Mostly some obscure/live stuff I have, but the live version of "National Anthem" as performed on SNL QWNz.
Tool- Any.
Dynamite Hack - Boyz N teh Hood (yes, a Folksy, acoustic, non-rap copy of the NWA hit. It's laugh out loud funny.)

I like listening to the Beetles, Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, and all the other old fashion songs that were being played in the vietnam era.

Wow.

Where to start.

Most of the time Pink Floyd.  Echoes is an awesome song.

I'll just stick with bands.

Pink Floyd
Queen
Zeppelin
The Who
Stones
T Rex
Beatles
Bowie
The Cult
Rage
Rush
and tons of others.
