Dont care if they dropped Baseball/softball.

there are sports that I think shouldnt be olymic events to begin with. Baseball is probably one of them.

Others are

Badminton
Artistic Gymnastics
Rythmic Gymnastics
Trampoline Gymnastics
Football (american or euro style)
Synchronised Swimming
Table Tennis
Basketball
Hockey

Find it nothing short of comical someone wanted to include golf.

Would really like to see em get rid of some really useless sports too such as figure Skating Which I dont really view as a sport as much as I do an exhibition

Not that there are anything wrong with these sports (well nothing wrong with most of em anyway)
But I dont think they should be olympic sports.
I mean c'mon Artistic gymnastics?? Gimmea break

But Really what they should do is have a set program of what events in the olympics and thats what we go with.

Rather then. This year we have this sport, this year we have that sport.

I’ve always thought that in all fairness there should be a men’s rhythmic gymnastics as well. Instead of using feminine props like long ribbons or plastic balls, they would use more masculine props, such as: a semi truck tire, a 3/4" 4’x8’ sheet of plywood or a lit propane torch.

I'm definately not in agreement with that. I'd much rather watch baseball than most of what Drediock posted. At least they didn't add cricket instead...

Oh I didnt say I wouldnt rather watch baseball then the others.
I just included it in the list that I dont think should be olympic events.

Olympic events should include things like.

High Diving.
Weight lifting.
Discus & Javilin throw
Wrestling
Boxing
Various forms of foot racing Sprint, Hurdles etc
Archery
Canoe / Kayak Flatwater Racing
Handball
Judo
Karate
Pentathlon
Triathlon
Fencing

meh Olympics can say whatever they want, but Baseball is still a great American Passtime, and in my eyes a sport.

That does it for me!! Badminton in lieu of Baseball or (gasp!) Synchronised Swimming? That's absurd.

I am officially boycotting the 2012 olymics! Not that anyone really cares, of course, but it's the principle. Talking about figure skating, I really have to wonder when Sex will be added as a sport (lots of audience interest there, eh?).
