Noticed that they had a bit a Mythbuster marathon on today. I vegged out for a bit and watched. I've seen a few episodes before, but today, I noticed something that I hadn't really paid much attention to.

Some episodes are pretty good, some are just about boring when they stretch it out too much. They need more things that go boom. ;)

My favorites are dropping a hammer to create a life saving ripple in the water if you fall from a bridge (they beat the crap out of a new crashdummy) and launching chickens from an aircannon at an airplane windshield. Good stuff.

actually, the launch a chicken at a windshield is one of the tests that a windshield HAS TO PASS to be used.

I believe you are referring to an armored windshield. The little 3/8 inch thickness windshields aren't going to stop much more than a bug in small GA aircraft.

might be, was pulling that from something i saw on the television a couple years ago...i think it was referring to airline windshields
